Ok it is the 5th of April and I am only posting now??? I have become a blog slacker......
Friday, went to Fildarado.....
Saturday I battled Pirates......
Sunday...... I battled the commissary to get groceries...........
doesn't it all sound so glamourous.......
First Fildarado then tomorrow Pirates....
Fildarado is in a small town near us called Filderstadt......
I would call it an indoor swimming pool complex.....but this would fall short.. Translated from German it is a "Health and wellness center with thermal baths"
This is the perfect place to relax and have fun especially if it is cold and overcast outside....
did I mention the thermal baths.... they were my favorite.....
There is a spa, a children's area,
water slides,
and did I mention the thermal baths....
For those of you seeking an unusual attraction.... There are blocks, well pillars of ice just in case you are to warm or miss the freezing weather outside. Yes, these are actual pillars of ice. I saw several people backing up to them and just standing there
so I would guess it is a "cooling station" of course all of the kids had to touch them.....
For 2 hours we relaxed and pretended we were really somewhere tropical.
If you are in stuttgart you really should go....
the thermal baths are perfect...... the yellow chairs
and green plants.......
The perfect place to hide from winter.
