A girl and her Boots

Ok, so we all know I have a thing for shoes, boots, sandals..... ( Sam calls it an obsession) I love shoes. I wore out a pair of perfect brown leather boots. You know the pair we all have that could hypothetically go with 80% of our wardrobe..... well my beloved boots bit the dust. I need a new pair. I didn't have time before I left the states. I started to seek them out here. Now I will tell you things here aren't more expensive they are just priced in Euro. So I found many beautiful boots many...many... it was hard to walk away. They were 120-165.00 Euro..which state side 120 dollars isn't much for a pair of trusted leather boots ( talk to Sam for a varied opinion) So this in Euro is comperable.... but the dollar vs the Euro is a sad tale right now so 120 Euro is wayyyyyyy more. After a day of boot hunting with Sam in tow....then another with kids and Sam in tow.... I still had no boots. I had to translate my shoe size to European size.... which like state side can vary by manufacturer. The boots never fit right or sadly and brace yourself for this one. I found the perfect pair of boots..... but the store could only find one of the boots and it was the last pair.... I went back 3 times to no avail....although I have new friends at the shoe store..... They were a beautiful cordovan color..... alas not to be. However, only 4 weeks here...I found the perfect pair. It was so perfect they are gorgeous ( do I love shoes or what) They were 20% off !!!!!! can you imagine... and the sun was shining..... I bought them of course. They are so pretty I have tried them on 3 times...sadly taken their picture and giggled in their presence. I know I seriously need a life but just look at how pretty they are! Now I have a pair of boots to go with almost everything to wear while exploring the city! Silly fun.... Now I am pining away for a pair of Naughty Monkey ( one of my fav shoe company's only second to nine west) Belly Up Bootie in the Kakai color...... oh can a girl really ever have too many pairs of shoes or boots?
