Getting to know Stuttgart.....
I know you have seen my posts about the old castle museum down by the Schlossplatz...
They have a special exhibit for children right now Pirates !!!!
Now H would be a pirate if he could, he lives for pirates, loves them studies them, reads books about them, has toys that are pirates......
Of course we needed to go.......
So Saturday afternoon it was off for adventure at the museum.....
They had pretend pirates, maps charts, ships...
an area where you could dress like a pirate, fire a cannon..
H loved firing a cannon they even had the stick for packing the powder don't worry the cannon was a nerf ball.
The captains quarters where you could write a note with a quill read and chart maps, and take a nap in the captains hammock.
They had a shipwreck to crawl in, two ships to swing across, and a ship to raise the sails on.
Oh and yes, of course they had educational material
like books, movies and real ship artifacts.
Battling pirates and exploring for treasure filled the afternoon we were tired on the train ride home.
