Our stuff came !!!!! Except for one crate..... but I'll start at the beginning.....
Once upon a time.... ok seriously. OUR STUFF CAME !!! Our beloved crates came Thursday. Of course it was also the day of the first snowfall for the season. This translates to soggy boxes. The snow was beautiful it blanketed everything and it looks so beautiful on the pine trees. The movers used a conveyor belt to lift our boxes and furniture up to the third floor window. This was the first move I have experienced having my things brought in through a window. Of course the kids loved the whole system and it was amazing the movers could even get anything in the house with the kids vying for a spot at the window to watch. Everything was coming and after 2 months without our things it was a sight for sore eyes. At the end though we noticed some furniture missing, our computer, tools, all the parts to put the furniture together, my shirts, some other items...... we asked our movers....." oh don't worry there is one more crate it is here in Europe no worries you will get in tomorrow or maybe a week it will come"...... so sam and I called to follow up on our missing crate....... The crate never left California !!!!! But the mover cheerfully told us it might be here by 20 NOV........ ummmmmmm but how do we put our furniture together? and what to do about the missing bed? It is the stuff of legends. I started laughing hysterically I mean this was a new chapter in the saga of our move here. I mean hilarious. Of course Sam will be in Africa for work when it comes. So I should have fun putting bunkbeds together with the twins help:) I am happy that most of our stuff is here even if we can't put our furniture together yet....... I hope our car comes this next week please keep your fingers crossed it comes ! I will get pictures posted this week to.
